The Spa at Homewood Park Unveils... Posted on 29/06/2010
Opening on Monday 5th July, The Spa at Homewood Park is part of a £ multi million investment by von Essen hotels this year.
The Design The state of the art, custom built spa is positioned to the side of the original outdoor swimming pool which will now be heated all year round. The design incorporates contemporary smooth lines and large areas of glass, softened by gently curving arches which span the length of the pool. Sections of the original dry stone walls have been repaired and retained whilst new plants, herbs and shrubs scale the walls and surround the building.
The hotel itself had a full refurbishment in 2009 whereby the public rooms and every bedroom were individually redesigned and furnished to the highest standards. The Spa, along with the enhanced landscaping and substantial planting, truly is the ‘piece de resistance’ to French born General Manager Denis Verrier and his team.
Endangered honey bees have been introduced to the Estate and the new plants have been selected carefully to encourage butterflies and other wildlife. Orphaned hedgehogs have even been re-homed within the 5 times ‘Bath in Bloom’ winning gardens!
The Facility The Spa at Homewood Park, worthy of its exclusive setting will provide an exclusive facility. The interior is impeccably tasteful and finished to the highest possible specification. Soft lighting and hues of light grey and blue offer an ‘other-worldly’ ambience.

Memberships will be available within the first year but this is an exclusive facility and numbers will be strictly limited.
Day spa and treatments will be available to non-residents subject to availability on a ‘reservations essential’ basis.
